When I first joined this hole, I promised myself to update as often as possible. How pathetic.


So, to news then. Our school has once again entered that horrid, hysterical, utterly irrational season known only as "Christmas Program". This means that for the next forty days, education will come to mean nothing in the face of studying scripts, painting/building sets, ordering costumes, training the choir, ordering/building props, ordering crappy red-and-green choir gowns, drinking more coffee/Red Bull than it is entirely necessary, sleep deprivation, pressure, and uncomfortable silences.

And all of it is extremely serious business to the entire school staff and to some particularly sad students. Fun to watch the hilarity ensue, anyway.


I can see that retarded Snuggie commercial on the television now. Goodness, don't these people have something better to do? And who exactly is this marketed towards? There are shots in the advertisement showing a bleacher full of people wearing the blanket outside. At a ballgame. Who could possibly be daft enough to wear that abomination in public? My mind aches just thinking about it.


To further the absurd length of this entree, I will now list some webcomics I've been wasting my time on:



xkcd. Probably a whole lot funnier if you know math. However, even if you failed it you will still be able to fawn over the stick figures.
Gunnerkrigg Court. Fantasy in its prime. Coyote kicks serious ass.
Parallel Dementia. don't let the simplistic style in the first comics fool you. The writing in this comic is amazing, and just keeps getting better, especially Visage's backstory. I am a hopeless fangirl.
Freakangels. And after-the-end comic about people being able to kill you by LOOKING at you. What more could you want?
The Order of the Stick. You know what? I'm not even going to describe it. It's impossible. Just go read it, you douche.
